DCO Beerse vzw operates a 24-hour emergency helpline. We would like to clarify the arrangements regarding this service so that you know what you can contact this mobile number for.

• Before and after office hours: 7.00 am to 8.00 am, 12.30 pm – 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm
• Mobile number: 0486 81 49 60
• The following situations are considered emergencies for the on-call service 
  • Victim of theft or accused of theft by a client
  • Victim of sexual harassment
  • Staff are unable to gain access to a client’s premises
• What does not constitute an emergency:
  • Reporting illness
  • Questions about wages or advances
  • Holiday requests
  • ……

Tip: save this mobile number in your phone under the name ‘DCO Beerse vzw Emergencies’. That way, you’ll always have it to hand should you need it.

To ensure your pay is processed and paid correctly, it is important that you notify your employer immediately of any changes to your personal circumstances. This includes changes to

• Marital status (married, divorced, …)
• Dependent children
• New mobile phone number
• Change of address
• Change of bank account number
• …..

DCO Beerse vzw provides every employee with work shoes. These work shoes can be collected from our office.

If, for medical reasons the employee requires special work shoes, you must report this to the office. We will then arrange an appointment with our occupational health doctor. The occupational health doctor will then submit their advice to the office. If adapted work shoes are required, the employee will receive a voucher from the Prosafco shop to select a suitable pair of work shoes.

We would like to provide you with clear information once again regarding the timing of your payments, as set out in Article 12 of our employment regulations.

• Advance payment: will be paid no later than the 20th calendar day of the month, calculated in proportion to the hours you have worked (max. €300).
• Wages (pay): are paid no later than the 7th calendar day of the following month, based on the payslips finalised on the penultimate day of the month.

We have been monitoring these dates more closely since May 2026. Do you have any direct debits set up (e.g. rent, utilities, loan)? If so, please bear these payment deadlines in mind when setting your due dates.

On Wednesday 26 August, we all headed out into the sunshine for our annual staff event at the summer bar. Thank you to everyone who joined us that evening for the great atmosphere and the lovely chats. During the event, staff members who have been with us for 10, 15 and 20 years were thanked with a  gift box  to celebrate their many years of dedication and commitment. We’re already looking forward to next year – hopefully we’ll be able to welcome even more colleagues to raise a glass together.
