This year, 2024, we are celebrating 20 years of DCO Beerse vzw. We will do this in Bobbejaanland, the most fun country! The focus this day will be on family, having fun and enjoying together with colleagues’s in a beautiful and fun environment.
We will conclude this day festively together with an extensive BBQ!

Programme:

• From 9.30am: reception
• From 10am: park opens  
• Between 10am and 4pm: free to spend time in the park
• 16h to 18h festive finale: BBQ in Kinderwonderland

What do we need from you to properly prepare for this day:

We will make it a beautiful and festive day together with family and enjoyment at the heart of it!

We continue to receive questions in the office around the maximum distance employees are allowed to travel for trips to customers.

It is important to emphasise that DCO Beerse vzw adheres to the agreements made at sector level and these are:

• Car: average maximum distance of 20 km  per trip
• Bicycle: average maximum distance of 7 km  per travel

It is not possible to take into account all concerns around displacement time –and distance on a tailor-made basis for each employee. This is not workable and feasible hence we also use the sector agreements.

Regular education and training is important for yourself. From DCO Beerse vzw, we encourage training and training hours count as hours worked!

We offer a wide range of training on different topics.

In the month of June 2024, we are offering the following training courses:

1. Working with people with care needs on 11 June 2024 from 1 pm to 4 pm
.
2. EHBO within the service voucher sector on 18 June 2024 from 1pm to 4pm  
3. Burn – out and stress prevention: a training course in self-care on 20 June 2024 from 9am to 12pm
4. Communication in the workplace on 20 June from 1pm to 4pm

Practical:

• If you are interested: send an email to info@dcobeerse.be with name, first name and choice(s) of course.
• About two weeks before the formation, you will be notified by the office of the date and time of the formation.
• Once registered, we expect you to actually attend the training.

In autumn 2024, October – December, we will again organise training sessions at the office. These will be announced in September 2024.

As a domestic worker, you will work in the customer's home on a daily basis. You will undoubtedly see and hear a lot at the client's home.

It is important that what you hear and see at the client's home this also remains confidential information.

This means that:

• Information that the customer tells you is confidential information
• That you do not tell another client about clients

Please also try not to tell too much about your own privé-situation yourself. This is also confidential information and the client does not need to know.

The relationship between client and domestic worker is a working relationship and should be respected as such.
