Dear colleagues,

Spring is in full swing and a new month has arrived. Time for our monthly update!

In this edition, we pay special attention to the rules for leave applications, with an important reminder: the deadline for applying for your summer leave is 31 May. Make sure you submit your application on time!

We also announce an important change: from 1 July 2025, we will introduce a customer contribution. Further on in this newsletter, we explain why we are taking this step and what exactly it entails.

With Easter just around the corner, we would also like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a nice and relaxing Easter weekend. From 22 April, a small Easter treat will be waiting for you at the office. Feel free to drop by to pick it up!

We close with a save the date for our annual staff event on 20 June 2025. Please mark this date in your diaries!

Application for career break

If you are an employee wishing to apply for a career break, we , the office, can get started after receiving 2 important documents:

a certificate from Break@work (you must request this yourself from RVA)
a completed and signed application form (you have to fill it in yourself, sign it and deliver it to HR).

As soon as we receive both documents, we can check whether there is any outstanding entitlement and the application will be processed.
Sofie, our HR colleague, will then keep the employee further updated once she has processed the application. You can also reach her anytime with queries at hr@dcobeerse.be.

Summer holiday request

Important: by May 31, 2025 at the latest, every employee within DCO Beerse vzw must declare holidays for the months of June, July and August.
This can be done via the Alundi application, vakantie@dcobeerse.be or at the reception desk in the office via the paper holiday slips.

Preferential take-up of holiday hours

When taking holidays, hours are taken according to a certain preference. It is important that you know and realise this well.
This order is:
1. Legal hours holiday 2025
2. Transferred hours of holiday 2024
3. More hours

Dial-up electronic service vouchers

From 1 January 2025, electronic service cheques will be dialled in via Pluxee's Job Tracker 2.0 application. Dialing in the cheques in the responsibility of the employee himself and this is best done after each customer.
In DCO Beerse vzw, we also use the application Alundi DC: this app is specifically for employee scheduling and communication with the office. Alundi DC has nothing to do with dialing in electronic service vouchers!
Hereby, therefore, a warm call to continue dialing in the electronic cheques after your client assistance through Job Tracker 2.0.
If you have any questions regarding the use of this application, you can always contact our office.

Customer contribution from 1 July 2025

From 1 July 2025, we will also start charging a customer contribution to customers within DCO Beerse vzw.
The amount of this amount as well as the motivation as to why we have to do this as a company can be read in the special newsletter sent out on 27 March 2025 to all our employees.

Attention Easter

DCO Beerse DCO Beerse vzw - Attentie Pasen

It will soon be Easter and we will enjoy a (hopefully bright) extended Easter weekend. The office will therefore be closed on Easter Monday 21 April 2025 due to an official public holiday in Belgium.
From Tuesday 22 April 2025, all our employees can come to the office to get their well-deserved bag of Easter eggs and this can be done until 30 May 2025. Bon appetit!
