During these cold winter months, we would like to share with you some important safety guidelines. Window cleaning is currently not recommended due to several safety and practical considerations:

Be like a sloth in traffic in bad weather!

• Moderate your speed. Slow down = arrive at your clients in one piece.
• Better 5 minutes late than 5 metres too fast (always tell your customer when you are a bit late).
• Wipers on are cool. Racing through puddles is not cool (especially for pedestrians).
• Fog lights only in fog (not because they look so cool).

The workplace is not a circus. Climbing stairs is not acrobatics. Don't take risks’s!

Superman also wore protection (oké, only a cape, but still) and Spiderman had non-slip soles - be like Spiderman or woman and wear your work shoes to your customers all the time.

Work shoes are among the personal protective equipment (PPE’s). They are mandatory for all workers to wear! They are meant to protect you from hazards that may threaten your health and/or your safety.

Your work shoes offer you more grip when polishing slippery and wet surfaces. The chances of slipping are reduced to a minimum by wearing your work shoes. As with any other type of footwear, safety shoes should be fastened so that they fit and support well, but are not too tight.

Signals when you need to replace work shoes:

• Most of the time you should replace work shoes after a year.
• So replace damaged shoes as soon as possible.
• Good foot support is important for the health of the wearer. Walking out causes the support to deteriorate. This can cause ankle, kneeën and back pain. Worn-out work shoes can even lead to sick leave due to (chronic) injuries.
• A sole with anti-slip can become slippery due to wear.

• Look out for height differences and uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Replace worn-out work shoes.
• Wear your work shoes ALWAYS!
