DCO Beerse vzw goes digital!
Our first digital newsletter is a fact. Every month, we will keep you informed about all our news, facts and trivia. We hope you enjoy reading it!
We wish all our employees a happy and enjoyable holiday in advance.
Don't forget to pass on your holidays to us and your clients (preferably in writing). If your clients require a replacement during your absence, please let us know. Please bring in or mail in all leave slips as a matter of urgency, normally these should have been brought in before 31/05. If replacements are already scheduled and you have been notified, they are obligatory!
Our coaches inform us that some employees are standing at their clients' premises on slippers. This is not really following the rules. The office provides work shoes for every employee and everyone is supposed to wear them accordingly. Think of your own safety and be sure to wear your work shoes, in case something should fall on your feet.
If there are any changes to data (address, phone number, mail, etc…), please do not just update them on your personal profile on our website. You will also have to communicate these to us personally, as our payroll secretariat is not directly connected to our system. Thanks in advance.
My name is Lea Lumen and I have been working at DCO Beerse vzw since 2006.
You know me mainly as a coach and mentor who, with tips and advice, always lends a hand on the shop floor.
I also work partly internally at the office to optimise the debtor management, here the communication is primarily with customers (more specifically customers who do not pay).
Through my experience, I have built up enough confidence and a healthy intuïtie to also dedicate myself to taking applications, to work with you and all colleagues’s to make our company grow and flourish even more.
Privé I moved from Beerse to Wortel 12 years ago, here I live together with Jan.
Together we have 5 grown children and 3 grandchildren (add to that on the outside: 1 dog, 1 tomcat, 8 sheep, 5 chickens and the picture is complete).
For my sporty self, I cycle to the office every day, love working in the garden and enjoying food and a glass of wine.
Being content with how life presents itself and enjoying nature is a must.
Challenges enough I would say.
The ball is in the court! The Government has finally decided to grant holiday entitlements for the first two quarters of 2022 for unemployment during the corona period. Acerta has adjusted the holiday balance’s among those who have stamped during those first two quarters.
In summer, the temperature can be quite high. Therefore, take good care of yourself. Eat healthily, take and respect your breaks and be sure to drink enough water. With the nice weather, chances are that you will have to clean your customers' windows or terraces. So take precautions and apply a (high) sunscreen on time, seek shade now and then and don't forget to protect your head with a cap to prevent sunburn. To make the hot days more pleasant, the office provides not only t-shirts but also tops.
Can you hardly stand the hot weather?
Be sure to ask all your customers to keep all curtains, doors and blinds closed as much as possible and this to keep the heat out somewhat.
