2024 is almost halfway through and summer is just around the corner.

Through this newsletter we will keep you up to date with relevant information about DCO Beerse vzw.

Many of the items in this newsletter relate to the cooperation between the client, the office and the household help.

Customer contract: amendments to general terms and conditions

A good working relationship starts with good agreements.

In our general conditions you can find the agreements that apply to the customer within DCO Beerse vzw: https://www.dcobeerse.be/general-conditions

From 1 July 2024, ‘article 12 –insurance‘ will be amended: This means that a fixed exemption of 150&euros; will apply per claim. In case of damage, you can report it via verzekeringen@dcobeerse.be.
Use of camera’s in the customer's home (article 19): More and more customers have cameras in their homes. Importantly, it is not allowed to film or monitor the household help through these cameras’s.

Change personal data

Please always inform the office if there is a change in your personal data:

Change of bank account number, address
Pets : important for allergyën as well as employees sometimes have a fear of pets
Smokers: if you smoke indoors we would like to know.

Last two points are very important for the office to find a good “match“ between our employee and the client.

Switching paper cheques to electronic cheques

The minority of customers today pay via paper cheques. The Flemish government has decided to eventually discontinue the paper cheque system.

From 1 January 2025 it will no longer be possible to order paper cheques, this will be possible until 31 December 2024.
From 1 January 2026, only electronic cheques will be used.

The switch to electronic cheques requires a few steps. These can be found on the website of Pluxee (former Sodexo):
