Herewith the first newsletter in this new year with more information on the social dialogue in the service cheque sector as well as some important practical announcements.

A lot has been said and written in the media in recent months about the service voucher sector. For instance, the price of the service cheque has been increased for customers from 1 January 2025. Part of this price increase should flow back into the wage package of domestic workers. Trade unions and employers' organisations are in full discussion on this at the Flemish level.
On 23 December 2024, an agreement was reached within the social dialogue on the end-of-year bonus and the union bonus, and the social partners expressed their mutual commitment to reach an agreement on increasing the purchasing power of domestic workers in the short term. As soon as an agreement is reached within this social dialogue, we will translate this into workable agreements within DCO Beerse vzw and do so together with our union representatives within DCO Beerse vzw.
From 1 January 2025, you will no longer be able to report achievements by calling 0800/355 30 or 02/547 54 97.
Important: the Job Tracker application is not the same as the Alundi application that will be offered for our employees from 1 February 2025 (see news release of 17 December 2024).
Many employees change their hours throughout the year. This should happen at most once a month and should be communicated to the office in good time so that all records can be made up correctly.
If you are going to work fewer hours and therefore take a contract reduction then you should be aware that this will also have an impact on your hours of statutory holiday. A contract reduction will cause the hours of statutory leave to decrease too.
If you do a contract reduction then it is important to monitor your balance of leave very carefully on the payslip.
