The holiday hours for 2024 are known and can be found on the January 2024 pay slip!

• If you exceptionally start or stop earlier, you must let the office know in advance. This can be done by mail or telephone.
• This is necessary from 15 minutes deviation from the start/end time.
• The change will be noted in the deviation register by the reception staff.  
• No later than 2 weeks after the date of deviation, you must come to the office to sign the register.
• Why: It is important for us as employers to know that you start or stop earlier. This is mainly important for the insurance company so that no problem arises in case of an accident.

When there is a structural change in your contract hours, it is always important

• To pass on all information to the office in advance (on site, by mail, phone)
• To come and sign the attachment for this increase/decrease at the office in duplicate. Ééone copy is for you and the other is for the office
• Only after discussing and signing is the increase / decrease in order!

What?

• These days, there is a lot going on in the media around the End-of-Year bonus for domestic workers. From DCO Beerse vzw, we find it regrettable that two major employer organisations have unilaterally terminated the sectoral collective agreement. We think it is important that our employees enjoy their work and are paid correctly for it. An end-of-year bonus is therefore an integral part of the wage package!

And now?

• At sectoral level, Flemish, the sectoral collective agreement will have to be renegotiated by employers and unions.
• For 2024, everything will remain as it was.

• The Social Fund for Service Cheques is responsible for paying the end-of-year premium for domestic workers (via the sectoral collective labour agreement).
• In addition to the end-of-year bonus from the Social Fund, every employee of DCO Beerse vzw receives a double end-of-year bonus. A unique one within the sector!
