A new month, a new newsletter.
This edition highlights the importance of training and what training DCO Beerse vzw is providing in the months of May and June 2024.
The results of the survey ' Feel good in your skin ', which is continuing September to November 2023, are explained. As chief executive, I am delighted to learn that many of our employees enjoy going to work. As an organisation, we score higher than average when it comes to mental wellbeing and well-being. Of course, there are working points that we will work on as an organisation.
We continue to build our well-being policy on the basis of these results.

In the period September to November 2023, our well-being survey ‘Feel good in your skin ‘ continued. Mental well-being and wellbeing are very important to us at DCO Beerse vzw. This survey gives us an insight into the state of our employees' mental well-being.
At the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work of 14 February 2024, Securex explained the results to the employers' delegation and union members. Before moving on to the results, we would like to thank everyone who made the effort to complete this survey!
47% of our employees completed the questionnaire ( compared to 26% in 2018 ). So this is a nice increase!
Because almost half of our employees filled in the questionnaire, we as an employer can continue to build on these results. Good mental wellbeing is a win-win for both employer and employee.

If we look at global scores of DCO Beerse vzw compared to the benchmark ( group of companies in Belgiumë ) we score higher than average. This is certainly apositive fact and we should build on this as an organisation:

At the end of the survey, an open question was asked: ‘What could DCO Beerse vzw do to make you feel even better ? ‘
Just about everyone formulated an answer to this question. This information will be further reviewed with unions and management.
A lot of useful tips were given that we can work on as an organisation.

Regular education and training is important for yourself. From DCO Beerse vzw, we encourage training and training hours count as hours worked!
We offer a wide range of training on different topics.
In the months of May – June 2024, these are the following training courses which continue in the office:

In autumn 2024, October – December, we will again organise training sessions at the office. These will be announced in September 2024.
Every employee working in 2023 within DCO Beerse vzw is entitled to a New Year's gift from Rituals as well as a gift voucher.
Many colleagues’ve already come to pick up these gifts at the office. For those who have not yet done so: they have time until Friday 29 March 2024.
Lately, we have noticed that many employees park their cars on the footpath across the street from the office.
This, however, is not the intention and leads to frustration among the neighbours opposite. Please park your car in the provided parking spaces in the street.
